Essential AI Pattern Breaker Prompt
Every business writer’s secret
AI writing tools can help you draft an email or document in seconds. But left unchecked, they can make your writing sound vague and (unsurprisingly) robotic! To avoid tired AI clichés and predictable writing patterns, copy and paste the instructions from this document into your AI tool before every prompt.
What’s the Essential AI Pattern Breaker Prompt?
This one-pager was created by professional writers who see AI spit out the same tired stuff time and again. It includes:
- A copy-and-paste prompt to use before your AI tool starts writing for you.
- Instructions that reduce generic phrasing – including overused words, dramatic pivots and formulas to avoid.
- A final human check reminder to review the draft before it goes to clients, colleagues or senior stakeholders.
Paste it in. Draft smarter. Then edit with human judgement.
