Learning journeys can be bumpy rides. And as much as we proclaim the importance of continual growth, we also never lose sight of this reality: we’re all human, after all.
And no human being is without their vulnerabilities, self-doubts and sensitivities. All of which can easily creep into a participant’s mind in a busy, fast-moving learning environment.
As facilitators, we train with compassion and respect for every individual, even as we challenge them. In doing so, we make learners – and each other – feel heard, safe and understood. Always.
