How is the course delivered?

Many training providers treat online workshops as videos for you to passively watch.

Not us. We use a highly interactive online training platform called Newrow. With live quizzes, polls, hands-on activities and breakout rooms, you will be engaged from beginning to end.

And because we hold the sessions live – in real time – you have the opportunity to ask questions and receive feedback on your writing. Then and there!

Who will be the facilitator at our workshop?

At CSA, all our facilitators are subject matter experts in their fields. This means we are highly experienced writers ourselves. 

This course is run by either Vikki or Veronica, professional writers who use the tips and techniques they teach every single day. That’s how – and why – they know they work! (When they’re not training, they’re writing: through our sister copywriting agency, Refresh Marketing.) 

So who would you rather spend your dollars on? A trainer who simply conveys the information? Or an experienced practitioner who lives and breathes it?

What is the duration and structure of the workshop?

The workshop is 6 hours all up – split into two parts held on separate days. Both parts run for three hours with two short breaks.

All sessions are fun, interactive and engaging, with plenty of practical learning. We also encourage questions throughout and work hard to get everyone involved.

Do I need to attend both sessions?

Yes. As there is a lot of information to cover, we split the course over two days. This means the content in each part is different.

Is the training live or self paced?

We facilitate every workshop in real time.

Our goal is to match the face-to-face learning experience as closely as possible and to give our participants plenty of opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts.

What technology do I need?

All you need is a computer or laptop with a working microphone and webcam.

And because we use a cloud-based training platform, you don’t need to download any software beforehand. Simply log in 10 minutes before the start time (to check your camera and microphone are working) and off we go.
